I'm like a kid on Christmas Eve! Tomorrow is my class with Karen McTavish and I get to leave straight from work today. All that stands between me and freedom is: The June newsletter, Sunday's bulletin, the program for Sunday's Community Sing, & filling out my timecard! You can bet I have those four things on a post-it note and I'm checking them off as I polish them off!!! Problem is: I've had too much caffeine and add that to all this excitement -- man, I'm like a ticking time bomb!! Jittery, forgetful, and just YOWSA!!! I'm hoping I don't seem too "groupy-ish" if I ask to have my picture taken with Ms. Mctavish - I'll post it here if I'm successful in getting one without seeming like a total geek :)
I've been very unmotivated and blah for the last week or two (yep, mom, I'm forgetting to take my meds!) and I'm hoping this will envigorate me some. There's also classes next week with my local quilt guild. They are bringing in Gwen Marston to teach two classes. So hopefully these, these will kickstart me.
So, back to the real job I go, to get myself off to the fun job's classes ;)
I'm a mom of 3 kiddos (Max-May of '93; Ellen-June of '95; Marci-August of '98) & wife to Tim since Oct. 1990, working part-time as a church secretary. I have a business, calico kat quilting, doing longarm quilting out of my home. I enjoy quilting, scrapbooking, and homemaking.
