let's get started :)

Well, this is a new venture for me . . . . blogging. I do read a few and I guess it's time to try it out.

Besides, January is a great time for trying new things. It's freezing outside and that means I'm staying in the house as much as possible. The most exciting news from me is . . . . . . . . wait for it . . . . . my room is clean!! I know, I sound like a 12 year old, instead of 40! But, with life and kids and a job, my own personal space gets pushed to the absolute bottom of the to-do list. Hubby keeps his parts of our room clean, and even makes his side of the bed - but me. . . . . . . not so much. Although, I'm good a making my side of the bed, that is if pulling the blankets up to my pillow counts! Anyway, I just got up one day between Christmas and Mom's Birthday (that's New Year's Eve to the rest of you) and said today's the day that MY stuff comes first, and I hope there's lots of leftovers in the fridge for ya'll, because once I dig into a project like this, it's likely to be an all day affair!

So, my room is clean. And, my laundry is washed and folded and put away (my mom would be so proud!) And I keep rubbing my kids noses in these facts everyday, LOL! Hey, I'm a mom, I have to find my perks where I can ;)
